  1. I wrote this in response to a conversation I overheard on the bus between a group of men in their early twenties. They were vehemently opposed to the early closure of liquor stores in the downtown area, which is a valid opinion to hold, however, they seemed to be holding the police responsible for the large number of tickets and fines given out. By rewriting this article into a fictionalized situation in which the police behave in a manner likely to gain the approval of the people I overheard, I hope to demonstrate just how irresponsible and immature that line of thinking is.

  2. If you walked along the Granville street and Robson, I do believe closing the liquor store was needed to cool off some of the things happening. I was really shamed to see bunch of Canadians yelling “F*** USA”. That only shows inferiority. Anyway cool article.

  3. nicely remixed.. I was shocked to see how many poeple were drunk on the street at the last day of the olympics. I guess there’s pros and cons of closing the liquor store early
